I've just read an incredible piece of new: yesterday, the "comisión de hacienda" passed a bill called "bond for golden wedding". This bond it's like a reward for people who lead 50 years or more married, and it's a money reward: $250.000 !!
Okey, now, I'm going to calm myself (because I really don't know if cry or laugh) and tell this history from the beginning...The first time I heard about this, it was when our brilliant president did his speech the 21th may, I thought something like "oh no! this guy it's out of his mind!" he was saying so many stupid things that this was like the ultimate! ... I thought he was joking! even I said "oh, now I'm going to get married and maybe I can get the bond!"
Later, thinking about this more seriously I heard Piñera saying that if we all keep going for the right way we all are going to have a reward; So, i couldn't believe what I was hearing! Now, to got married and never divorced it's the right way???? and if you do that, you get a money reward? unbelievable! And the worse thing was that all the politician that appears on tv or on the newspapers are saying that it's very good, positive etc... Yesterday the decision was unanimous!... okay, something it's wrong with this people, and with this country! you don't think I'm not crazy? why anybody says anything?
Well... now, seriously, the problem is: how an Estate can assume that being married for 50 years it's something positive? what if a couple doesn't want to get married? it's wrong? and the worse thing is: how the money of the government (our money) it's assigned for such a stupid reason? what if your husband die just one year before the 50 years married? you doesn't get the money! and if you ever wanted to got married but you really need that money? and what happens with the problems who matter? education and health?

ResponderEliminarJust as you said, I AM GOING TO TRY TO CALM MYSELF. I read the piece of news more than once (by the way I loved the way you wrote about it)to convince myself about this. Two, or no, three things resume what I think:
1) Oh, yes. It's a righthanded government!
2) Oh, yes. We're being ruled by the church
3) Oh, yes. As people die because of the dreadful conditions our health is been drawn to, people get money by the most likely estupidity of being "married for a life time".
That's the reason why I don't like to read o know about news, world is just everyday worse.
